Placement of Employment

Graduates of John Patrick University of Health and Applied Sciences are considered placed in employment through one of the following three criteria:

  • Placement by TitleThe student’s job title is consistent with a published list of titles for which the program prepares students.
  • Placement by SkillsSkills taught in the program of study are consistent with skills required by the graduate’s position.
  • Placement by BenefitsStudent attestation, either written or verbal, stating they received a benefit from the program of study that served as a catalyst in obtaining or maintaining their position.

This information is obtained from Placement Verification Information requested from graduates as well as Graduate Satisfaction Surveys and Graduate Employer Surveys received. Retention and Placement Rates per program are evaluated and updated annually from July 1 of the previous year to June 30 of the following year. Placement rates include graduation dates no less than six months prior to June 30.
