Bachelor of Science in Medical Imaging

The Bachelor of Science in Medical Imaging prepares students to practice competently and effectively as medical imaging professionals in diverse healthcare environments. In addition, the academic and clinical foundation in the curriculum develops graduates with professional flexibility and adaptability. This allows students to assume prominent roles and responsibilities after graduation in both career and scholarly pursuits.

The Medical Imaging degree program has specializations in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Computed Tomography (CT), and Nuclear Medicine. This degree program is offered through a hybrid learning environment, which requires an in-person instruction component (boot camp). Boot camp requirements vary by the specialization selected.

Graduates are eligible to take the ARRT examination since the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC) is recognized by the ARRT.

Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS)

JPU offers an Associate of Science in Diagnostic Medical Sonography and a Bachelor of Science in Diagnostic Medical Sonography. Both programs prepare graduates to practice competently and effectively as entry-level sonographers in diverse healthcare environments. Sonography is a rewarding career in healthcare, where the sonographer plays a critical role in helping healthcare providers diagnose and treat medical conditions.

Associate of Science in Radiologic Technology

The Associate of Science in Radiologic Technology is designed to prepare students to enter the profession of radiologic technology. This program is structured to provide students with basic concepts and competencies to work as radiologic technologists in the healthcare environment.

This program meets The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) requirement of 16 hours of structured education as part of the post-primary certification process.
