Online Library
You do not need a password to search for articles through the Library Discovery Service. You can choose to create a secure Username and password in order to save searches within the discovery service. In order to access articles through the Elsevier ScienceDirect database, you will need a login and password that is assigned and emailed to you when you enroll. The Online Library boasts many helpful benefits and features including:
- Your own private, personal space to save favorite journals or articles
- Several easy ways to browse material (by subject, by author, by title)
- One access point for all your online library needs
- “Ask-a-Librarian” Feature

BORROW A BOOK FROM THE PHYSICAL LIBRARY
Students can borrow a book from the physical library at JPU by checking it out in-person or filling out the Library Book Request Form. Requests are received by JPU’s Librarian, Sheila Makala, MLS. For questions, please email Sheila at smakala@jpu.edu. To review the physical library inventory, login to your Populi student account and click on “Library” from the top menu bar.
