Nutrition
The Nutrition concentration is designed to promote better health through diet, nutrition, and the relationship between good eating habits and preventing or managing specific diseases. Additional research and learning will explore the latest food and nutritional science trends to apply integrative nutrition therapies and practices into clinical nutrition.

The MS in Integrative and Functional Medicine Program Admission Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree from a regional, national or international equivalency accredited agency recognized by the United States Department of Education in a related field.

- A GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) for the last degree earned.
- If the applicant’s first language or the language of instruction is not English, English proficiency examination scores are required.
- Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). The minimum scores are 550 (pBT) or 213 (cBT) or 79 (iBT).
- The International English Language Testing System (IELTS). The minimum score required is 6.5.
- The PTE Academic minimum score required is 53.
- Active/Current Medical and/or License/Certification recommended.
- Interview with a JPU representative
*Prerequisites are effective for students enrolling for the Spring 2021 semester or later. Students that are unable to demonstrate completion of the required prerequisites, may still gain acceptance into the program and complete any required prerequisites at John Patrick University.
